I have fifteen years of extensive construction experience, which includes five years of building and landscape maintenance, and nine years of road construction, working as a laborer running equipment and doing high access rope work, before becoming a superintendent for the same company putting together and operating large scale jobs.
I worked on road sides working on active land slides, and unstable rock faces stabilizing them using a rock fall mitigation process. This includes using a grid system of ropes and cables where we suspended a drapery system of mesh and cable nets down the mountain side, using ropes and harnesses to suspend ourselves, and helicopters and cranes to hang the material. We also built large scale rock barrier I beam fences to protect the road from rock fall, using ropes and scaling bars to scale rock making it safe enough to perform the task at hand. While doing this work i learned the ins and outs of this process later becoming a superintendent running and operating large scale jobs.
Basic maintenance, includes refueling, lavatory cleaning, polishing, hanger placement, and towing to the tarmac.
I unloaded and operated the holzma. This is the largest length and cross cut saw in the factory. I was using an on board computer to cut down to the nearest fraction of an inch.
