Over the last few years, I've had various experiences in customer service, from patient care to food handling, where time management has been critical. Strong communication skills have also played a vital role in all previous experiences, from teaching and training new employees to understanding a customer's needs and how to satisfy them to my best ability. I'm now at a point where I would like to take a chance to take my career in a different direction. After working most of my career in the medical field, I'd like to now focus on computer science and information systems. I've recently gone back to school to pursue an AAS in Cybersecurity at Truckee Meadows Community College. I would like to eventually obtain my bachelor of science in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. In my most recent job as a lab assistant at Renown Regional Medical Center, I've had almost daily experiences with walking nurses or doctors through on how to order various viral and bacterial tests through the Epic application interface.
