  • Assure client's understanding of obligations with respect to conditions of the court's order and monitor compliance with the terms and conditions of probation. Address violations of the court order by taking appropriate action. 
  • Coordinate case management and referrals with representatives of criminal justice and social service agencies. 
  • Provide individual and individual crisis intervention counseling as required and needed. 
  • Assist client with various referrals including counseling, treatment, and job referrals. 
  • Verify attendance and completion of alcohol, drug, mental health counseling, and any other court ordered programs. 
  • Prepare written assessments and recommendations to the court concerning alternative forms of sanction, treatment, custody release, release from treatment facilities, and out of custody probation supervision, and compliance and progress during probation. 
  • Develop client case and review plans as mandated by the Texas Family Code. 
  • In preparation for placement, transport youth to medical appointments, purchase clothing as needed, obtain medical and psychological reports for court proceedings. 
  • Appear and testify in court, conduct urinalysis, request and execute Directives to Apprehend, obtain consents, and other required paperwork. 
  • Maintain client files and records consistent with laws and policies. Transport clients to off site locations as required.
