As a journeyman electrician I feel very confident in my skillset and my ability to adapt in the face of adversity. Over the past few years in Humboldt County I have grown and learned a lot. In an ever evolving industry like electrical, I hope to continue to learn as well as teach apprentices/ETs as I progress in my career. Having successfully completed a rigorous 5 year union apprenticeship, I feel that I have a well rounded knowledge of each sector as it pertains to the electrical industry.

After leaving the Bay Area seeking an alternative paced lifestyle for my growing family, I began with McKeever. I've enjoyed my time working in Humboldt and plan to continue. While with McKeever we managed to complete a number challenging projects and take great pride in our craftsmanship. I held the position of Journeyman Electrician, and towards the latter part of my time with them, assistant Construction Manager. McKeever has decided to go into a new sector of Construction, no longer employing electricians rendering the field crew obsolete. Below are a few projects and general tasks I am proud to have been a part of:
I finished my final 2 years of my 5 years apprenticeship with Contra Costa Electric at Chevron Refinery Richmond, CA. I was privileged to work in the industrial environment while completing my apprenticeship and turning out as a California State Certified Journeyman Inside wireman. Not long after I turned out, I was promoted to Foreman while working 7 days a week, 12 hour days on a plant shutdown. I left Contra Costa to pursue a less stressful environment in Humboldt County. Below are some of the many tasks performed while working at Chevron:
