Flexible and adaptable with experience in radiology assistance. I take a lot of pride in my work ethic and patient care. I know all the steps and procedures to radiology exams and I stay in shape to make sure I am able to preform my duties at work. I am BLS certified by the American Heart Association and I also know how to perform EKG's. I have three semesters of Spanish courses and am able to communicate efficiently with patients that are Spanish speaking only. I have a lot of knowledge in MRI safety and am one of only 3 co-workers that is trusted to be in the MRI scanner room. I am seeking another job in a different hospital to get my foot in the door for when I graduate nursing school and also to get some exposure to a trauma center, for that is my field of interest.

My duties are to transport patients from their rooms to all the different radiology departments. I also prepare and evaluate patients before their exams. Every morning I check the crash cart by testing the defibrillator and checking expiration dates. Overall I am responsible for the safety and care of patients to and from their radiology exams.
Prerequisites are almost completed then I can apply for nursing program.
