My goals and main duties were:

  • Gathering information for the World Travel & Tourism Council audition in each of the hotels for ‘'Tourism for Tomorrow'' Award in People, which the company won in April, 2018, thanks to their policies and culture to invest, and develop benefits for its employees and the impact into the communities where the hotels are located.
  • Search, selection and hiring of high qualified candidates for management and corporate positions at the Collection.
  • Development and tracking of the Cayuga's Internship program mainly with universities in the United States, United Kingdom, France, etc, and with Universities at the countries that the Collection operates.
  • Opening of 3 new hotels and the Collection's Centralized Sales Department, 2 hotels in Costa Rica and 1 in Panama, where we planned a hiring strategy for all the staff and management team, training and onboarding, salary's analysis, human resources internal policies, development of organizational climate survey prior and 4 months after the openings.
  • Development and tracking of the Key Performance Indicators for a better measure of the 10 business units (7 luxury hotel in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama, also Corporate area and Sales Department) along to create faster and effective plans.
  • Development of scorecards for the Performance Evaluation structure for each position in each of the company's sales force and hotels.
  • Development of organizational Salary Studies and Analysis, comparing internal and external market, in order to ensure a balanced wage gap between similar positions and minimize staff turnover.
  • Development and implement of all the process of Organizational Climate, from the questions for the survey to bringing strategic solutions to improve the organizational environment and low the turnover.
