Duties: As a small arms repair technician, I was responsible for daily maintenance and record keeping of weapons and equipment stored within our armory compound. As an armorer we were attached to weekly rifle ranges where we would conduct training and repairs as needed. During my time in this position I have worked with the following billets within my shop:

Duties: Midway through my enlistment I volunteered for a short deployment aboard the US.Curtis where I would train as a security officer as well as maintain all weapons aboard the ship. We trained for extensive hours of the day in patrolling, radio communications, night vision courses, room clearing, hostage recovery, handcuffing, shooting drills, and grappling. As a security officer we were split off into teams of six and operate in different shifts throughout the week. We would work long hours patrolling and keeping on the alert for approaching vessels. Skills that were involved on this deployment that helped assure mission accomplishment were:
