  • Assembles and analyzes six inpatient charts per hour.
  • Processes twelve outpatient ambulatory surgery records per hour to include assembly, analysis, Create the folders; create admission packages, attaching all dictated reports and filing records.
  • Assembles and analyzes medical records within 48 hours of discharge from the nursing units.
  • Files loose reports within 24-72 hours of receipt by the department.
  • Interview patients or family member upon admission if patient can talk or sign, or get healthcare proxy to sign admission package.
  • Manages and maintains Health Information department individually when supervisor is not present.
  • Work as a team to help Unit Secretaries with paperwork and other support.
