  • Responsibilities there were a couple of different job duties to this 1 particular job
  • the job duties were to sleeve, strap, scan and then load the cabinetry into the trailer for the shipment the following day.
  • sleeving a cabinet, was basically putting the cardboard and the tape around the outer sides and tops and backs of the cabinet to secure the cabinet from damage.
  • strapping was also a process in securing the cabinet from damages and possible breakage.
  • scanning was a process included in the loaders job duty to let the other personnel on the assembly line know that the product and parts going along with the product are being loaded for shipment.
  • The loading part is pretty self explanatory with loading cabinetry into the trailer for the customer or store to receive the following day.
  • Accomplishments I learned a better understanding of how much team work is needed in a work place to accomplish things that a single individual cannot.
