Graduate student nearing completion of an accelerated dual degree program: B.S. Forensic / M.S. Chemistry degree (FEPAC accredited). Undergraduate courses included a "capstone" experience of processing a (mock) crime scene, from evidence collection to expert witness testimony. Career preparation emphasized the importance of correctly receiving and logging evidence, determining how to analyze evidence (techniques and scientific methods), writing reports that detail analytical results, and testifying in court.
