Cover Letter

Over the years I have taken great pride in my managerial and man management ability and have endeavored to produce the best out of most people I come across. I have a very entrepreneurial outlook and am focused on positive outcomes.

I pride myself in being organized, taking responsibility, strong in leadership, an effective and articulate communicator, and being trustworthy.

My background in the customer/client service based industry is one of my greatest attributes. I am observant of situational dynamics and synergies, and use the S.T.A.R method (Situation,Task,Action,Result) to resolve and find resolutions to challenges. I have the ability to adapt to a variety of circumstances, communicate effectively, (spontaneously if necessary) and understand how to meet strict deadlines and resolve pressured situations.

I am well versed in finances and have the necessary knowledge to look at KPI's, including statistics, and interpreting analytical spreadsheets to develop and improve performance within most given industries.

My IT skills are also part of my profile and I have expertise and experience in this area as well.

My awareness and sensibility to maintain diplomacy and etiquette, and keeping personal and professional standards to the highest level is based on many years of having a career, acting as a director, general manager and in senior executive positions in a variety of business environments. My 'life' qualifications allow me to have had the privilege of working with some very talented and gifted co-workers and individuals.

My past employment- hobby's and interests- also include working with children and youth organizations, teaching and coaching soccer from grassroots level, to head coach at a college. In addition, I was a youth development director at a professional club covering 3 regions and ten centers for many player athletes who went on to compete at the highest professional level.

I have always been an advocate, mentor, and advisor for community groups to represent young people who seek direction and guidance.

I also have previous experience in working as a music therapist for four years with disadvantaged and disabled young people in a school that was run by the National Health Service and found this to be a very fulfilling and inspiring part of my life.

I am a proud follower of Christianity, while strongly respecting other people's faith and beliefs. I try to always remain humble to my own philosophy, while not imposing.

I wanted to make a point that I did not finish my Bachelor of Science degree, in business management, as assistance was needed by family at home for an extended period. At that juncture I felt it required I return to the work force to help financially.

In coming to the US, in 2008, (I became a US Citizen in February this year and was originally from London, England) I was concerned. I knew the culture was very much geared towards the 'hallowed transcript' I would be filtered out of many job applications because I did not do the hours necessary to graduate. I apologize for this deficiency and am hoping this will not act as a negative bias or impediment to my application. I wanted to demonstrate a number of diverse attributes, specific to your job description and requirements, in assisting your company succeed in its business objectives.

I am grateful, appreciate your time, and look forward in having the opportunity to meet in person, subject to the current climate, and at your convenience.
