  • The Coast Guard Exchange (CGX) is a support organization within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that provides merchandise and services to Coast Guard and other authorized patrons. Income generated is used as working capital to maintain CGX locations throughout the United States and abroad as well as to provide the Coast Guard with supplemental funding to the Morale, Well-being, and Recreation (MWR) fund.
  • Oversaw Maine CGX stores, two US Coast Guard Cutter stores and directly managed the South Portland location.
  • Created a Made in Maine department for the Maine locations by working with local companies, attending the annual New England Made show and staying on top of buying trends. The creation of this department was adopted into the company's merchandising model for most stores as "Made In," Locally Made Product exclusive to their area.
