Work History
06/2015 to Current Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship Westchester Medical Center, New York Medical College | City, STATE, Clinical training is based at two hospital systems, comprised of Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla and Lincoln Medical Center, Bronx. Each of these sites provides a unique educational and clinical experience. The diverse patient populations at each hospital have provided me with a broad educational and clinical experience in GI consultancy, outpatient practice, and endoscopic procedures.  The fellowship is also augmented by an intensive 6-month curriculum in inpatient transplant hepatology making me proficient in taking care of complicated patients using a patient centered multidisciplinary approach. Due to a special interest in neurogastroenterology and motility and Inflammatory Bowel Disease, I am currently being trained and mentored by our motility specialist in esophageal and anorectal manometry with the aim of being proficient in the diagnosis and management of motility disorders. 

06/2012 to 05/2015 Internal Medicine Resident- Primary Care Track New York University School Of Medicine | City, STATE, The Internal Medicine Residency Program at New York University/Bellevue Medical Center is a combination of rigorous academic inpatient and outpatient training. I served as a primary care physician for under-served and minority patient population at Bellevue Hospital and Gouverneur Diagnostic and Treatment Center. I am comfortable communicating and treating patients with diverse ethnic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds. I also have intensive training in psycho-social medicine, evidence-based medicine, women’s health, and health policy & economics.
