07/2015 to CurrentGastroenterology & Hepatology FellowshipWestchester Medical Center, New York Medical College – City , STATE
Clinical training is based at two hospital systems,
comprised of Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla and Lincoln Medical Center,
Bronx. Each of these sites provides a unique educational and clinical
experience. The diverse patient populations at each hospital have provided me
with a broad educational and clinical experience in GI consultancy, outpatient
practice, and endoscopic procedures. The
fellowship is also augmented by an intensive 6-month curriculum in inpatient transplant
hepatology making me proficient in taking care of complicated patients using a
patient centered multidisciplinary approach. Due to a special interest in
neurogastroenterology and motility and Inflammatory Bowel Disease, I am
currently being trained and mentored by our motility specialist in esophageal
and anorectal manometry with the aim of being proficient in the diagnosis and
management of motility disorders.
