Born in Rocky Mount, NC, after graduation from Rocky Mount Senior High she moved to Miami. Once in Miami,FL she began working with Cuzzie King at Curley's Beauty Salon in 1985. After Ms. King Deseased in 1999. She then took control Mrs. JessicaClaire started helping the Liberty city community in 1985 with grooming, empowering ladies who had given up on themselves and life. Several clients obtained employment, returned to school, and had a newfound outlook on life. She also later started helping them with spiritual guidance.

From 1985 to 2003, JessicaClaire dedicated her life to helping the community and her home to fostering children who are in foster care. She provided love and support to the needy and abused children who were with the Department of Children & Families. She advocated for youth, providing with loving home and empowerment to instill future goals and encouragement to lead better lives.

Jessicais the Founder and Executive Director of Curley's House of Style,Inc./Hope Relief Food Bank in August 2001. She has fed and clothed over one million needy individuals and families in our serving areas, throughout her 20 years of services. She presently services approximately 600 clients weekly, providing boxes of bulk food products, clothing, and social services referrals. Curley's House is open because the demand is so great that we are often run out of food before 3 pm distribution closing time.

Curley's House provides basic sustenance, proper nutrition, and wellness. She also provides other services which include, housing, government assistance, employment search, after-school/summer program and etc.

Mrs. Claire's mission is to improve the quality of life for low to moderate-income individuals, families, the elderly, at-risk youth, the abused, HIV/AIDS infected and other immune-compromised, veterans and homeless and economically displaced individuals by providing bulk products to the needy residence. Our ministry serves the inner-city community on a daily basis.

Lavern's major objective is to combat hunger among individuals and families living in the Southern District of Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, West Palm, Monroe Counties). Curley's House providing bulk boxed food, basic sustenance, proper nutrition information, and wellness. Also to further extended our services in housing, government assistance, employment search, after-school/summer programs for the youth.
