  • Ridgecrest, CA (11/19-12/19: Spent several hitches performing habitat restoration throughout the Ridgecrest BLM areas and the surrounding mojave desert. Work included efforts to protect the endangered California Desert Tortoise. This was accomplished by covering illegal OHV wilderness trails by vertical and horizontal mulching.
  • Irvine, CA (1/20): Spent two hitches removing invasive species (mustard seeds) throughout lands and parks operated and owned by the Irvine Ranch Conservancy.
  • Malibu, CA (1/20-3/20) Spent several hitches performing trail building and maintenance and carpentry work at Point Dume Natural Preserve along side the California State Parks Trail Crew. Work included building an ADA compliant trail and building the decks and benches that would be located on/or near the trail.
