-Current duties include but are not limited to;
-Responding to crime scenes in a Police department vehicle
-Recording the scene via notes, sketch, photography and more
-Recovering evidence in the least invasive manner
-Processing scenes for latent print evidence and chemical processing evidence at the request of Officers and Detectives
-In this capacity I have completed numerous reports, sketches, and documentation for court
-I have testified in court on findings that are relevant when needed by the States Attorney or for the Defense
-I am frequently assigned as an acting supervisor when the current supervisor is off work or on vacation
-From March of 2018 through August of 2018 I was tasked as an acting supervisor for the current shift 2 of the Baltimore County Crime lab
-In that capacity I supervised up to four personnel at a time, working as a team to assist the Police Department in bringing closure to victims of a crime
-I have responded on numerous occasions to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to recover evidence and fingerprint deceased individuals
-I write detailed reports and always try to go above and beyond for the county
-This job requires me to be a strong multitasker and very detail oriented in all that I do
-Properly document crime scenes through note taking, photography, crime scene sketching and measurement
-Documenting injuries/wounds on a victim, suspect, or Officer as related to the crime
-Recovering, packaging, and submitting evidence properly for future laboratory examinations while maintaining the evidence's integrity and chain of custody. Upon request, chemical and powder processing evidence for latent prints.
-Testifying in court as needed for cases that I have handled for example: Homicides, 1st Degree Assaults, Burglaries, etc.
-Proficient in computer use, report writing, utilizing multiple databases to enter evidence and provide a thorough chain of custody.
-I was trained as an emergency communication technician in Police DIspatch
- In this capacity, I trained new employees and for approximately four months I was the acting Communications Supervisor in Police Dispatch while Supervisor Bower was on surgery leave
-I dispatched calls for service, coordinated efforts with other agencies during pursuits and calls of that caliber, utilized communication skills to assist Officers in their daily duties
-I am a skilled multi-tasker that can monitor multiple channels, use the computer system, and communicate on the radio in a calm and reassuring manner
-I started at the 911 center as a Police Dispatcher in April 1999 as an Emergency Communication Technician I
-In May 2006, I transitioned into an ECT II adding FIre Dispatch to my accomplishments
