I learned how to trouble shoot and diagnose different electrical schematics, and how to read schematics and symbols, as well as how to fix the issues that I found. We focused on the importance of troubleshooting for faults and fixing faults instead of just replacing parts to minimize cost. The class also strongly focused on hands on training using small schematics and the same components we see at work everyday, contacters, starter motors, relays and so on.
