Team Leader is responsible for carrying out the orders of the Squad leader, controls the fires of his team, and acts as the teams grenadier. He is also responsible for the care and maintenance of his equipment.
The automatic rifleman carries out the orders of the team leader by focusing firepower on enemy troop concentrations of four or more and will assume the duties of the fire team leader should the fire team leader become a casualty. Is responsible for the care and maintenance of his equipment.
Provides an asset to his squad by employing the Improvised Explosive Device Detection Dog to aid the squad against an Improvised Explosive Device threat. Is also responsible for the care and maintanance of the dog along with weapon and equipment.
Carries out the orders of the fire team leader. Is responsible for the effective employment of the rifle and for the condition and care of the weapon and equipment. The rifleman is trained as a scout.
