I'm an observant, family oriented Fire Lieutenant with over 13 years of hands on experience. 10 of those years were spent at 3 of the busiest engine and rescue companies in the city, state, and southeast region. With 642 residential and commercial fires, 6,088 medical and rescue responses, 105 hazmat incidents, tornadoes when 1st on scene, 1 plane crash, and a mass casualty explosion, I have a strong understanding of fire safety and prevention, emergency medical care and rescue, an elevated knowledge of hazardous materials response, and mass casualty mitigation. Although I truly feel troubled seeing families go through the toughest times of their lives, I'm professional and comfortable in making effective decisions in stressful conditions and catastrophic emergencies.
