    Feb 2013 - current: Focused on reducing denials and improving operating losses for Christian Hospital and Alton Memorial Hospital.

    * Co-lead the 2015 AMH GDP to develop and execute case management and non-case management processes. Reduce total denials from 4.9% to 4.1%. Oct 2015 YTD result 4.0%.
    * Lead the 2014 AMH GDP for developing and implementing a process to evaluate and optimize net revenue collections to reduce deduction percentage from 74.4% to 73.6%. 2014 YTD revenue deduction percentage,70.9%.
    *Assist revenue department managers in resolving charge errors and EBEW errors in Soarian to reduce denials related to untimely filing to payers.
    *Review existing medical necessity and authorization denials to isolate root cause and educate revenue generating departments in correcting the cause to reduce denials.
    *Manage a Nurse Auditor at Christian Hospital in reducing IP denials and educating case management staff on documentation opportunities to reduce denials.

    Nov 2007 - Feb 2013: Managed a team of 2 Sr. Financial Analysts and 1 Project Coordinator in preparing the MYM, Capital Budget, Annual Revenue Operating Budget and Financial Proforma’s related to Service Line profitability and growth, physician acquisitions and capital purchases for Christian Hospital and Alton Memorial Hospital.

    *Established MyTime reporting and identified savings opportunities in excess of $150k to reduce early-in, late-out punches.
    *Established monthly surgery trend reports to better analyze costs and reimbursement opportunities by physician in order to have insightful discussions with the surgery directors at CH and AMH related to growth opportunities.
    *Lead the Analysis team in developing the Cardiology and Radiation Oncology service line analysis to enable Sr. Leadership guidance in future growth opportunities.
    * Supported the financial analysis in the recruitment and transition of Hematology Oncology Consultants to a CH PSA. Ensured that all physicians were credentialed appropriately to obtain proper reimbursement.
