Growing up in this valley has enriched and heightened my senses on wanting to help out all families who need it. The amount of resources I have accumulated by being a client-driven Family Liaison and Advocate with seven in a half years of experience, has taught me that acting as liaison between clients and service providers has become second nature. This is all while still being adaptive to specific client personal considerations and focusing on supporting all aspects of recipient registration by providing a calming presence in light of often stressful enrollment processes and complex situations.
As a bilingual individual with diligent research skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders, has expanded my scope of work in a positive way by providing my gift of having a second language. Having my Bachelors Degree Health and Human Services with Minor in Psychology has offered understanding of different programs and the knowledge to help clients make appropriate financial, healthcare, and overall well-being decisions.
In addition, being a multi-talented advocate/liaison consistently provides rewards for success in planning and operational improvements. All while understanding how experience in policy development and staff management procedures positively impact overall morale and productivity.
