During my time as Warehouse Supervisor, one of many departments I oversaw was shipping and staging operations within Bodek and Rhodes largest distribution center in country.

My responsibilities in shipping included overseeing daily outbound shipments placed on UPS trailers for shipping around country. Developing processes and hourly associates to quality/ efficiency of floor loaded trailers and working closely with array of departments within operations and supply chain to improve flow of merchandise out of building to our customers.

While supervising staging department, it was my responsibility's ensure timely pulling of merchandise out of inventory. This was especially critical because with Bodek and Rhodes heavily inventory businese model, large portion of our outbound merchandise is held in reserve and released seasonally. In this role, organization of equipment operators was key. Their responsibilities not only included pulling merchandise from racks, but also providing service to departments around building, moving/ staging pallets, delivering supplies, and assist receiving team put away's.

This position played big role in my development as Distribution Center Supervisor. I had exposure to pool point and operations through my shipping role and exposure to entire distribution center thru my staging role.
