Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
To whom it may concern,
Please accept this letter as an expression of my interest in the Executive Assistant position. I am a highly motivated and progress-focused Sales Representative with a long-standing background in this industry. With a track record of initiative and dependability, I have devised strategic initiatives which I believe will prove valuable to Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Throughout the course of my career, I have perfected my travel administration and business correspondence abilities. I am a capable and consistent problem-solver skilled at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency. In my previous role, I contributed communication, organization, and general office toward team efforts and business improvements. I am progressive minded and in tune with new developments in my field. I have proven to be effective and collaborative with strong time-management talents. I enjoy collective brainstorming sessions which all me to coordinate activities to achieve a common goal.
I have studied in a global health biology class much of the work done by the Bill and Melinda gates foundation. The work they have achieved is immense. From the work they have done in Africa alone and in the complete eradication of Polio. This Foundation is incredible. I have a passion in global health, economics and sociology, to which all I would be able to apply in this job as well. I am organized, timely, and resourceful. I get things done. It would truly be a privilege to work for them.
I understand that I may be younger than other applicants and on paper, potentially less qualified. I see those aspects as my strengths in what I do. I do not have a four-year degree, to which I may never be able to afford. I did not have parents who could pay for my schooling, what I do have I did myself. I don't come from money, I've had much adversity in my life. Which means I appreciate the opportunities I have been so fortunate to have even more than the next person. I do intend to do great things in this life and I know what it means to work for what you want.
As mentioned in my resume, I am currently working towards my degree in business. I have never let that affect my work life. I take all classes online and do not have time restraints. If I was not focused on pursuing a specified degree, I would still be taking courses that fascinate me. To me constantly taking in new information keeps my mind agile and is something I find a great deal of enjoyment doing. With that being said, work will always come first.
I know my many strengths would be helpful to this company if given the chance. I am a fast and enthusiastic learner. To be able to work for this company is a dream of mine and if I do not get it now, I will just keep trying. For the sake of efficiency, it would be in your best interest to have an open mind of me as a possible contender. For if not today, tomorrow. I look forward to hearing back from you.
Please take a moment to review my attached resume and credentials. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you regarding my candidacy. Thank you for your consideration.
In my experience working as an executive assistant at strategic financial solutions, I have learned an extensive amount. I had met with multiple extremely wealthy clients on a daily basis and handled public relations for them. I maintained relationships with clients and always treated them with the upmost respect. As well with my superiors and work associates. I have organized and planned all elements to meetings and conferences. I have completely planned all travel requirements needed for superiors and clients. Available 24/7 to assist with all their needs. Maintained a tidy work area and kept office supply's well stocked. Organized financials and created project plans for presentations used by superiors. It is my opinion and what I believe to be the opinion of my superiors that I have done extraordinary work in my past two years working for them. Helping them to achieve the work they were doing at an immensely quicker pace and keeping them on track. It is of course different for each company as far as what they expect of an executive assistant, but I am an incredibly quick learner and a dedicated one as well. I do not take failure lightly on my part and strive to do whatever I can to prevent it. Even if I have to take my work home. Preforming to the best of my abilities gives me the upmost joy. I have learned so much in the past two years with them and I will forever be thankful for the opportunity they gave me to do so.
