Dedicated Engineering Technologist skilled in employing lean principles to add value, remove waste and drive continuous improvement in engineering projects.
- Led a team of engineers and stakeholders in the development of 4 product shredding machines capable of running twice the capacity of a standard Urschel CCD type shredder using the same footprint while improving shred quality and sanitation. These machines are 10 years old and still going strong in Plymouth.
- Documented and resolved tracking issues with a 90 deg film turner which led to the redesign and creation of a new powered 90Deg turner that was maintenance friendly, easy to operate and sanitize. We have two of these machines running in Oostburg
- Designed and fabricated a 3/4" cheese cubing machine capable of 15000 lbs an hour to satisfy the requirements of a 5lb line at 50 ppm.
