As an officer, I had numerous responsibilities that contributed to the reduction of loss of life and property. I fulfilled the CHP's motto of Safety, Security, and Service by responding to requests for service.

I have worked in several offices in southern California, starting with Santa Fe Springs (Los Angeles County), El Cajon, Oceanside, El Cajon, San Onofre Inspection Facility, and San Diego (San Diego County). As a CHP Officer, I was required to work independently with minimal supervision. I have worked from my home as a Resident Post officer which required certain nights of the month to be on-call with the ability to respond to incidents at a moments notice.
Some of my training includes but is not limited to: Commercial Vehicle Enforcement; Hazardous Materials Response and enforcement; Instructing department personnel throughout Southern California on new laws and legislative updates; provide instruction on Hazardous Materials response to officers and Hazardous Materials Incident Command to Supervisors and Management staff.
