  • Advised and assessed equipment and facilities for the Legal and Business Development Teams resulting in the sale of ~ $165 millions in Fab Infrastructure, Real Estate and Equipment which helped Maxim make a big move towards a Fabless Model.

  • Responsible for managing retired equipment assets available for sale yielding on the average ~$6.5 millions in sales/year.

  • Ran the Equipment and the Facilities Groups in Dallas Front End Fab until the line was shutdown in 2009.
  • Decommissioned and defacilitized all the equipment transferring the assets to other Maxim Front End Fab's.
  • At the end of 2009, started ramping existing Wafer Level Packaging operation in the former Dallas Front End Fab, today capacity has increased to ~13X original 2009 levels.
  • Running a Best in Class Organization in Equipment and Facilities introduced automated equipment metrics to Maxim including: Tool Variability A80, Availability, >24/72 hrs.
  • Equipment Down, Equipment Downtime Histograms and Continuous Improvement through Policy Deployment.
  • Best in Class Cost Performance in Maxim for Equipment Maintenance and Repair achieved through a series of cost control systems.
  • Facilities Cross Functional Team Leader initiated and managed over 120 projects across 4 Maxim Sites leading to substantial savings in consumption of utilities: Water, Natural Gas, Nitrogen, Argon and Electricity.
  • The value of these continuous savings greater than $3 millions/year.
  • Expert in energy acquisition was responsible for locking in fixed and variable electricity rates in large blocks at multiple Maxim locations.
  • Converted for the first time, Maxim California and Oregon from a regulated PG&E market to a deregulated competitive market.
  • Today, 3 out of 4 Maxim sites buy electricity from one national supplier NRG Energy with ~$2 millions in annual savings (San Antonio - Texas remains in a regulated market).
  • Part of the executive leadership team tasked by the Maxim CEO to change and highly modernize the Dallas Campus.
  • As a result, ~$40 millions was invested in the campus: New Office Building - Lone Star 150,000 SF, renovated ~ 350,000 SF of office, lab's and warehousing in 4 Maxim Buildings.
  • A new highly efficient 8,000 SF Data Center was built in the existing Mechanical Building.
  • Out of 22 buildings in the Dallas Campus, 5 modernized buildings remain today, the rest of the buildings were sold and 2 are scheduled for demolition and the space turned into a for a green park.

  • Responsible for a group of over 120 people including: Managers, Engineers and Technicians.
  • Youngest Staff Manager on site was responsible for leading several Excellence Teams over the years and Sponsored Several Committees.
  • Under my leadership, several equipment platforms received best in class performance for equipment availability.
  • The site had the best Cost/Move equipment maintenance performance compared to the rest of the STMicroelectronics sites.
