I am an experienced Law Enforcement Officer currently working as a Detective in the Special Victims Unit for Ogden City Police Department. I am hardworking, and pride myself with my attention to detail in my investigations, report writing and ability to communicate with victims. witnesses and suspects in a respectful and professional manner. I work closely with the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS), the Weber/Morgan Children's Justice Center, and the Weber County Attorney's Office for successful prosecutions where necessary. I recently received a Distinguished Unit Citation award for Investigations and Employee of the month for March 2020.

I served in the Traffic Bureau for approximately 6 1/2 years. During that time I investigated multiple accidents including those with fatalities. I completed Advanced Accident Investigations training as well as DUI training. I conducted multiple DUI investigations that resulted in successful prosecutions. I am seasoned in courtroom testifying. I completed Motor School and served on motors during details such as the Ogden Marathon, Jazz Bear ride, and multiple parades. During my time in Traffic, I also received a Distinguished Unit Award and multiple Excellent Work Awards.

I have completed leadership training's that include, Employee Discipline and Admin Procedures, Instructor Development Post Supervisory and Leadership Course and most recently the Sergeants Academy.
