Executive leadership program, designed to prepare field-grade officers for battalion command or staff positions at the division, brigade, or battalion level. The curriculum includes instruction on leadership philosophy, military history, force management, as well as the Army and Joint doctrine planning and decision-making processes.
Selected for a highly competitive assignment as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Operations Officer in a joint duty assignment with the National Security Agency (NSA) with emphasis on intelligence collection, collection management, analysis, and information operations. Applied leadership, decision-making, and production expertise while serving as the focal point for national cryptologic planning, integration, and execution directly supporting Allied warfighters and national policy makers.
Selected ahead of 20 highly qualified candidates to lead a multifaceted Headquarters organization of 160 personnel, responsible for the planning and execution of training, deployments, and professional development for all assigned personnel and the maintenance of all assigned equipment and facilities valued in excess of $11 million.
Senior Intelligence Officer responsible for developing and coordinating the production of Aviation-centric Intelligence products in support of the Aviation Brigade comprised of an Air Cavalry Squadron, General Support Aviation Battalion, Air Assault Battalion, and Aviation Support Battalion. Responsible for the production of a weekly commander's Intelligence Read Book, monthly Aviation-centric Intelligence Update Briefing, and Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield products utilized to enhance the Brigade operations orders. Advised the command on all aspects of Physical, Operational, Informational, and Personal Security, Force Protection, and organized Cultural Awareness Training. Proactively provided intelligence support and guidance to subordinate intelligence sections enhancing combat readiness, while professionally developing, training, and supervising two officers, five Non-commissioned Officers (NCOs), and two Soldiers.
Mid-career leadership program designed to produce competent military intelligence (MI) leaders who are technically and tactically competent in Decisive Action, able to operate within a Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multi-national (JIIM) environment, able to serve as MI experts on battalion and brigade staffs, and lead company sized elements. Course curriculum includes instruction in leadership, the Military Decision Making Process, command climate, counter-insurgency operations, Targeting and Intel support to JIIM.
Senior Intelligence Officer in a 155mm self-propelled M109A6 (Paladin) howitzer battalion with a priority wartime mission supporting FORSCOM contingency operations. Performs the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) and manages the tactical intelligence dissemination process. Provides assistance to the operations officer in managing the Tactical Operations Center. Assists the targeting officer in managing the counter fire process. Supervises the battalion's physical security and crime prevention programs.
