I've worked in the customer service area for 4 years now. I just recently graduated from the College of Southern Idaho, majoring in Biology. During my college career I worked in retail because scheduling was a lot easier. Now that I have graduated, I am ready to seek a full time job with more responsibilities. There were times that I was juggling three jobs and most often two jobs together. I learned how to prioritize and balance my social and academic life throughout my three years of schooling. I was also a member of Program Board for one year, we would do events for the student body of CSI and receive feedback of what events they would like to see. We learned how to be leaders upon our group, teamwork was our biggest strength, and communication was a big key when it came to successful events. My sophomore year I joined the ASCSI Student Senate, I became a liaison for two different councils, Student Recreation Center and the IT Department. I would report back to the Senate body about any concerns, events, or recommendations these councils had. We also held events to try to get the student body to give us feedback on what they would like to see different in our college. We had rules to go by which was also known as our constitution and bi-laws. I've become very familiar with all of the administration team and faculty team. Being able to go outside my comfort zone and being involved has strengthened my confidence, communication, balance, and an upbeat personality.
