Leadership: Developed and Wrote Mission statements, Policies and Procedures for new facilities. Successfully combined two Correctional Facilities- Programs Departments. Management of overall administration of Programs and System Support. Developed " Women's day Program " adopted throughout all Colorado Women Facilities. Responsible for Facilitating National Accreditation ( American Correctional Accreditation ). Conducted and participated mock aduits. Results Driven: Changed the Preception and Work Ethics for Mental Health in a Maximum Security Correction Facility. Changed the Mind set of a Medical Model to a Cooperative leadership Style at the State Hospital in Nebraska. Dependability: Have never taken a sick, thus Leading by example. Participated in 5 and 10 year Strategic Planning for staffing and programs projections. Management Style - Eclectic Business Acumen: Managed an operating budget of over 2.5 million. Managed and supervised 100 full time employees. Managed a diverse Program Department; education, vocational education, religion, food service, recreation, libraries, work programs, volunteers and laundry. Building Coalitions : Recommendations to appropriate resolutions to stakeholders which included but was not limited to offender's families, State Parole Board, courts, judges, and Community organizations.
