Throughout college I bar tended and waited tables for 6 years. The restaurant industry made me develop a wide range of sales and customer service skills. I learned how to deal with various types of people in many situations while keeping a high satisfaction rate. I have an engaging personality, which can be very persuasive with the right knowledge and direction. For the last year and a half I have been working for an oil field company as a field technician. This is a general labor job where I became resilient and well adjusted to things such as: Harsh weather, long hours, and a physically demanding day-to-day job description. Furthermore, I learned to be a dependable employee and a great team member. I am highly motivated and goal driven with diligent follow through, all of which are characteristics that allow me to have unlimited potential as an asset to your company.
Creating effective strategies to expand existing customer service.
My responsibilities included: carrying out contract specific jobs on oil field locations, filling out (JSA) job safety analysis forms, completing field tickets, training new employees, monitoring productivity, and making sure the operator we were working for was completely satisfied.
My responsibilities ranged from up-selling products and providing excellent customer service to being able to keep composure in high stress situations. I was a shift leader and was also responsible for monitoring and maintaining the cash drawer for the entire restaurant. I took pride in the fact that we were a small local business, yet still had competitive sales and revenue compared to large franchised companies.
