Since the age of sixteen I've had a passion to lead and the excitement to assist Employees, Customers, Clients and Guest. I started working at the age of 16 at firehouse subs, after over achieving for two years I got a chance to move up in the company. At the age of eighteen the shift leader position became available and I was given the chance to begin my career of leadership. I've learned how to cope with different personalities and attitude of over 9 different employees throughout a day, I would close shop count the register and make safety deposits. After eight months I got hired at Rays New York Pizza, within the first nine months I was managing, serving, and delivering for Rays. I started college at Georgia Perimeter College and began to juggle two jobs and school. After three years of working both jobs I started at Grand Hyatt Hotel, within the first year of my employment I had won Awards for being a distinguished service Team member for the first quarter. I've been chosen to be join two different progressive teams within Hyatt. One the Engagement Team, and the Innovation Team. After my first year at Hyatt I got married and had a child, and was given an even greater opportunity to utilize my skills of being able to speak Spanish and Portuguese. At the age of twenty two I began working for a construction company "Tucano Stones" as a supervisor and sales representative. I was able to utilize my expertise in customer service and sales training bid and win home improvement jobs for over eight months. Things took a downhill fall once the owner of the company broke his leg and wasn't able to continue his work in construction. I re applied and became reemployed at Grand Hyatt Buckhead where I was able to learn many different positons. From Server assistant to bar tender I learned it all. I plan to continue going to school and graduate from Georgia tech by December of 2017 with a bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus of videogame development. Now recently divorced and focused more than ever on my future and goals.
