Controller of a 50,000 acre agricultural water delivery company (Sutter Mutual Water Company) and a Reclamation District (Reclamation District 1500) with 56 miles of levies to maintain. The water delivery company is a 501(c)12 non-profit and the reclamation district is a government agency, a subdivision of the County of Sutter in California. As Controller it was necessary to work with farmers, construction contractors, government agencies, bankers, auditors and all others doing business with these two companies. The annual operating budget of the Water Company was in the range of 6 to 7 million dollars per year with the exception of 2004 and 2005 when there was a 20 million dollar construction program. The District annual budget was in the range of 3 to 4 million dollars. Prior to Sutter Mutual I was the Finance Officer of a 50 million dollar wood moulding company responsible for all the financing, accounting of the company.
Prior to Sunset Moulding Company I was the Controller a Prune Packing manufacturing company. Prior to Cal-Prune I had my own Accounting practice in Gardnerville Nevada. The practice consisted of small business and personal income taxes, auditing government agencies, and setting up accounting systems.
