Responsible for inventory maintenance, reporting, and data analysis. Plan, schedule, and conduct projects and study to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a program or in a program support setting. Evaluate and monitor civil engineering service contracts and maintain documentation of contractor performance in accordance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and contract. Act as a liaison between the contractor and the customer. Contracts I have overseen have been JBSA Lackland Grounds, Fire Suppression, Hanger Fire Suppression, and currently Custodial for JBSA Ft Sam Houston. I manage budget for each contract and approve/disapprove invoices through Wide Area Work Flow. I submit purchase requisitions in DEAMS for funding of contracts.
Liaise between tenants and management to complete all facility work special projects for the Wilford Hall Medical Center. Process and resolve all work requests from clients within an assigned maintenance area. Assess work projects prior to completion, including magnitude, complexity and estimation of cost of each job; coordinate with other service teams to determine appropriateness for each work order. Call on interpersonal skills to understand each mission at hand in order to fulfill projects accurately. Offer guidance and explain details of management programs to colleagues, including the HAZCOM program, cost reductions and work assignments.
