With over 25 years in the Carpenters Union and over 27 years experience in structural concrete, I have been very fortunate to have been part of many great projects throughout California. Specializing in commercial, civil and many other forms of structural and architectural concrete, my commitment to safety, quality, work ethics and schedule has allowed me to play key roles on all jobs. My leadership skills set high standards for on the job performance by all whether as the Concrete Superintendent over-seeing all trades and subs or as a Carpenter Foreman running a crew.
On-site Concrete Superintendent for several projects over-seeing and supervising :
Hire and termination.
Take-off and ordering of all material, equipment and manpower.
Layout & Survey.
Excavation for all Foundation, slab-on-grade and backfill.
Layout and placement for all rebar template, bolt templates and all embeds.
Formwork, rebar and masonry subcontractors.
Poring, placement and finishing of all concrete.
Scheduling and ordering of all Pumping & concrete
Daily field reports, inspection requests and time sheets.
Writing and receiving RFI's.
Supervising carpenter crew for the following:
Layout, formwork and set-up of all foundation, slab-on-grade and matt-slab.
Installation of all waterstop, rebar template, bolt templates and embeds.
Fabrication, placement and removal of all formwork.
Gang-forms up to 60' tall.
Coordination with all subs, crane-time, access, etc.
Daily field reports, cost codes, time sheets.

Carpenter Foreman over-seeing crew of carpenters:
Design and fabricate custom column forms.
Set forms and remove all forms.
Install all embeds, bolt templates, sleeves for pre-cast, etc.
Set all inserts in surrounding shot-crete walls to set my forms.
Most work done off 80' lifts, no two forms alike.
Notes: This was one of the biggest excavations in LA history.
The structure started 7 floors below street level and up
10 floors above street. Cast-in-place, Pre-cast, Structural
Steel, Shot-crete along with Cast-in-place Theater walls
