Clinical Materials Resource Coordinator Eskenazi Health City, STATE,
  • Initiated the Value Analysis Program Hospital Wide with the support and experience of UHC (United Health Consortium) and our GPO, Novation.
  • Initiated & Facilitated 13 teams across the institution, tracked savings initiatives, Initiated a web based tracking system (called Med Approved) for opportunities that involved evaluating new products. Assisted in training Vendor Reps when we brought VendorMate on board to control Vendors and their outreach to staff and physicians.
  • Analysis of data was reported quarterly to the VP of Supply Chain. Opportunities were often shared and networked through UHC.
  • Researched products via contract analyst with contracts about to expire or due to new contracts being submitted by Novation.
  • Developed good repore with vendor representatives.
  • Other responsibilities were developed in reprocessing, recalls through out the facility and finding substitutions on critical backorders.

1984 to 05/2002
CCM (Clinical Care Manager) of L & D, Value Analysis Women's Hospital City, STATE,
  • Staff RN in L&D.
  • Advanced to Shift Supervisor
  • Advanced to Day shift Charge Nurse.
  • Promoted to Clinical Care Manager of Labor & Delivery. Supervising 45 staff, over 14 LDR's, 2 C/S rooms and 1 surgical gyn OR room.
  • 1997 I transferred to the OR and was reassigned to light duty assignments in the PACU and Day Admission Department. Also participated on the P & P committee and Nursing education.
  • In 1998 I was reassigned to Utilization Review, and shortly after Y2K project.
  • In 2000, I was transferred to Revenue Integrity, reporting to the CFO. Initiated the Value Analysis Program and reported to the CFO.
05/1980 to 1984
