  • Staff Management: Manage 13 application analysts supporting Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager application suite including Sunrise Emergency Care, Sunrise Pharmacy as well as various other systems including Midas+, 3M, McKesson ORSOS, CernerSoarian EDM, CBORD and Clairvia.
  • Project Management: Project Lead on numerous initiatives including planning, managing and coordinating project activities to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters. Manages all aspects of assigned projects from original concept through final implementation.
  • Workflow/Application Build: Integral member of implementation team for Allscripts EHR (Sunrise Clinical Manager, Sunrise Emergency Care, Sunrise Surgical Care), which encompassed full implementation lifecycle including design, build, test, train and go live support.  Implementations included CPOE, Clinical Documentation, Sunrise Pharmacy, eMAR, KBC, ePrescribing of ControlledSubstances (EPCS) and Order Reconciliation Manager
  • Systems Administrator: Responsible for reviewing, testing, coordinating application changes from bug fixes to major upgrades. For Allscripts products, I work closely with Allscripts remote hosting services team in Charlotte NC.
  • System Upgrades: Responsible for major System Upgrade initiatives such as upgrade from Allscripts EHR 5.1 FP1 to 6.1 and, more recently, upgrade from Allscripts EHR 6.1 to 15.3.
  • Meaningful Use: Integral member of the Meaningful Use Team responsible for design, build, implementation and activation of both Stage 1 and Stage 2 objectives.
  • Testing: Development of testing strategies, plans and scripts and coordination/support of all testing activities.
  • Training: Responsible for creating and maintaining Training Database for Nursing and Physicians.
  • Go Live Support: Development of Activation plans including execution of Mock Lives. Planning and coordination of 24x7 Command Centers and At Elbow Support post go live.
  • Change Control:  Implemented a formal change control procedure to ensure that all changes into Production have been properly vetted, tested and communicated.  Coordinate and facilitate weekly change control meetings.
