The project seeks to establish a pilot access certification cycle for a subset of UTC Corporate Cyber Security Tools/Applications in a non-production environment. Current process includes a large group of applications where access certifications are carried out manually. Implementation of the certifications module within SailPoint will provide a means for UTC to establish a centralized framework, standardize processes for access certifications, mitigate compliance and security risk deficiencies, and provide a positive and efficient user experience.

Responsibilities

• Created Functional Business Requirement document for application owner-based certification for subset of cyber security applications
• Gathered requirements from application owners preparing questionnaires, interviewing them and getting feedback which helped in determining viable candidates for the SailPoint pilot certification program.
• Prepared Certification Process Workflow of the various processes to be followed during the pre-certification, certification, and post-certification phases for the certification team to be on track and meet deadlines as per the scope of the project.
• Prepared User Cases for the basic flow of approving user access, revoking user access and delegating user access review.
• Created and sent Daily Status Report to application owners and stakeholders on a daily basis to track their certification progress. This report included application name, percentage completed and the count of approved/revoked accesses.
• Generated and provided Revoke Reports after the certification completion to application owners to follow their internal process to revoke the accesses and submit back the updated User attribute and Role matrix files for reconciliation into SailPoint along with log file as an evidence showing access has been revoked as per revocation process.
• Provided Summarized Progress Dashboards to the leadership which included the list of applications along with an approved count and revoked count.
• Generated Post-Certification Revoke Report after the reconciliation into SailPoint and validated if all users having revokes have been successfully removed from the system accesses and the all the current users in the application are successfully reconciled into SailPoint.

In the current Project Capital Group is transitioning from OIM and OIA and ARMS applications to Sail point IIQ for performing Access certifications, business role Management and for creating and approving access requests.

In the current role I am responsible for gathering requirements and creating customized Tableau dashboards for PAR (Periodic Access Review) and Access Admin Reports and making sure all the users within the firm have authorized accesses to the business applications based on their roles within the firm and verify that users with inappropriately assigned accesses, their roles have been revoked and remediation has taken place.

• Worked Closely with SME's and stakeholders to elicit, analyze and document Business and Functional requirements for PAR Admin and Access Admin Reports based on periodic Access reviews within the firm.
• Built custom SQL queries to retrieve metadata using TOAD for Oracle.
• Built compelling, interactive, and actionable Tableau dashboards on top of structured data models for multiple end users and stakeholders.
