Chief executive officer for the city of Delano Police Department. Oversaw the operation of the entire department operation to include, but not limited to, patrol, investigations, administration, dispatch and records, training, animal control, and code enforcement. I also served as the acting Chief of Corrections for 1 year.

This position was the second in command for the university police department and reported directly to the Chief of Police. Duties included working closely on matters of interest with the University President, University legal counsel, Deans, department chairs, and other staff and students. Conducted complex personnel investigations of university interest. Oversaw the investigations division which included the investigation of criminal matters, overseeing the evidence repository, training, and special operations.
Routinely testified in court or other judical settings. Also oversaw the evening patrol shift.
I was initially assigned to a correctional facility setting for two years where I monitored staff work, ensured inmates were properly accounted for and cared for. Prepared schedules, conducted training, and administered both staff and inmate disciplines. I was also later assigned to a transition team of department members to assist in the development of the Ben Clark Training Center. In this capacity I worked with other staff to develop housing units, training rooms, policy, meal services, and a host of other services and programs to assist learners. In addition, I worked as a patrol supervisor within the cities of Jurupa Valley, Norco, and the unincorporated areas of Hemet.
Assigned to a patrol area where I conducted various levels of police services to include, but not limited to, investigation of criminal activity, crime reporting, traffic accident investigation, crime scene examination and testifying in court. Additional duties included:
