Center Manager Citizens Business Bank Visalia, CA,

Eurocentres is a Swiss-owned international organization with language schools in over 30 countries. As Center Manager for Eurocentres Amboise in France, I was able to:

Improve customer relations through regular written feedback and constant contact with students, responding to this feedback in weekly meetings with both administrative and academic personnel,

Recuperate previously 'lost' group contracts, including the Georgetown Visitation Prep School in Washington DC, who had not held their annual study trip in Amboise for several years,

Organize and host several FAM trips for international educational travel agents,

Create a successful online marketing campaign targeting the French language departments of the UK's top 100 Boarding Schools (16-18 year old students)

Bring in 'local' students by meeting real estate agents, building and renovation companies, the Tax Office and the Town Hall, who then gave our brochures to newly-arrived foreign residents,

Open the school to the local community, initiating a scheme of gifts and reductions for Eurocentres' students in local shops and negotiating one-on-one, high-profit hourly lessons for non-francophone executives of local companies,

Increase the number and quality of our 'Host' families and include them in student social activities,

Negotiate a partnership with the Managing Director of the Clos Lucé Château and Museum (last home of Leonardo da Vinci where he painted the Mona Lisa), thereby increasing the number of historically-oriented students, notably from Italy,

Improve the internal and external image of the Amboise school by participating actively in advertising, marketing and brochure-creation meetings,

Animate a highly successful weekly cheese and wine-tasting event for students,

Ensure the maintenance and re-decoration of the 1830s listed school building with no disruption to classes,

Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial and activity reports to Head Office, participating in follow-up analytical progress meetings in our Paris, London and Zürich offices.
