Setting up, tearing down and monitor Fresenius H,K & T machines. Assessing patients pre & post treatments. Accessing fistulas, grafts and catheters. Giving heparin and normal saline as allowed. Monitoring patients during their entire treatments. Obtaining blood samples when needed, collecting blood cultures as ordered.  Educating patients on all aspects of dialysis. Train new staff as the unit preceptor, continue education and training through company. Every year take company competency DPC exam.
