I was responsible to help the lead social worker locate housing for the homeless. My duties included: home visits, 1:1 check ins, data entry, communications, and assisting with other needed resources such as: clothing, food, and home items.

Toys for Tots: Duties included picking up toys from donation spots, and gathering data on the families who were coming in.
School Drive: Duties included: sending reminders to low income families about the dates to pick up school supplies. Calling and scheduling times for them to come in, and handing them backpacks.
Coat Drive: Sorting coats and hanging them. Greeting clients, giving them a ticket, and helping them select the right size.
Refugee Night: Event to earn money for refugees. I helped decorate the event center, set out the food and drinks, and collected donations at the door.
Adoption Dance: I helped set up the popcorn station, greeted families, sold tickets, and cleaned up after.
Rake the Town: Our cohort helped rake leaves for two homes of elderly clients in the community.
Assisted Living Zoo Trip and Arts and Crafts:
I volunteered to help take elderly individuals on a field trip to the zoo. I also signed up to help with two arts and crafts stations, where they would decorate photo frames and memory posters.
