Summary
Seeking a professional position in a criminal justice setting. I am an experienced, organized USAF veteran who is now an experienced case manager. I served in administrative, customer service and investigative intelligence duties for approximately 15 years. I am fluent (near-native ability) in Spanish, and completed a second bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Case management in the field of criminal justice, record keeping, data processing, analysis, report-writing, log-keeping, and working with a variety of clients were among my duties in the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services and USAF. I have professional briefing and reporting in both Spanish and English, am organized, and am the ultimate team player. Also, I was an editor, managed quality control for intelligence products, and managed many troops and projects throughout my career. I understand document management, and can coach other people to understand tasks related to job completion and processing. In the Intelligence field, I had many opportunities to give briefings to large groups of high-ranking officers and government officials, requiring subject matter expertise and confidence. I bring communication abilities to your organization that will enable the end user of my products to make informed decisions based on my recommendations. I was a non-commissioned officer in the USAF and supervised, evaluated, and wrote evaluation reports on many subordinate troops who were in my chain of command. I bring the leadership and professional experience required to either work alone or in a team environment.

The Department of Juvenile Services is a child-serving agency responsible for assessing the individual needs of referred youth and providing intake, detention, probation, commitment, and after-care services. DJS collaborates with youth, families, schools, community partners, law enforcement, and other public agencies to coordinate services and resources to contribute to safer communities.
Further,  I provide case management services to juveniles in a community or residential setting. Employees implement and coordinate the delivery of services and treatment plans for juveniles on informal supervision, probation supervision, aftercare supervision, detained pending trial or disposition or committed to DJS.
