I have excellent communication skills and I am a people person. I believe to be a supervisor/manager you need to be strong in both of these areas. I have no issues disciplining employees if it is warranted. I keep a positive approach in dealing with customers, and fellow employees. i have a excellent working knowledge of the railroad. Not just mechanical, but transportation as well. I believe that it takes team efforts from all departments to move freight safely and effectively. It takes a group effort to meet the expectations of the railroads customers. I believe in the safety process. I believe that no job is so urgent, no service is so important that we cant take the time to work safely and go home to our loved ones the same way we came to work. Safety is important at home as well as at work.The railroad has taken me many different places.
