Responsible for the inspection, and repair of freight cars in accordance with FRA 49 CFR, and AAR field manual. Also, knowledgeable in AAR billing of rail car repairs.
Various duties pertaining to track maintenance, repair, and large scale railroad construction projects using specialized tools and heavy machinery.
Responsible for managing the collection, sorting, distribution, and tracking of freight cars throughout the facility including inbound, and outbound cars from multiple rail lines. Other duties preformed include purchasing/material handling.Responsible for inventory, shipping, receiving, and quality inspection of incoming rail car parts.
Metal working using various machinery. Also extensively involved in design, layout drafting, and production of new products and special projects involving outdoor island kitchens, smokers, and competition style cookers, as well as grain aeration components.
Academic Excellence Award achieved by maintaining a 4.0 GPA over a period of 18 hours.
