While working at Consolidated Resorts in Las Vegas NV, for a period of about three months a manager referred me to a colleague at Cancun Resort, also in Vegas, where I was hired as a sales manager to oversee the creation of a Spanish language phone room. I myself and Les Williams, the Special Projects Coordinator for Monarch Resorts built a team of 20 Spanish speaking sales agents from the ground up where the employees started cold calling off paper leads to full on computer generated lead program. In a matter of weeks I was responsible for generating sales exceeding 500 sales a week, and by the third month my phone room surpassed 1000 a week. The president of Monarch Resorts himself complimented me on the rapid growth of the program. One of my best accomplishments in the field of sales.
