During my college career enrolled at SIU-C as a dental hygiene student, I commuted from my residence in Mounds daily to SIUC but unfortunately I had to abruptly quit my studies to deal with the grief of my siblings who were in high school at the time and their tragic passing in a car accident.

I never went back to finish my degree due to the overwhelming grief and stress I was under at the time.
