I have professional working experience as a certified nursing assistant, medication aide, licensed practical nurse, and registered nurse. I have a background in cardiac care, pulmonary rehabilitation, pediatrics, and acute and chronic hemodialysis. I possess a strong commitment to providing quality patient-centered care, and am skilled at building rapport with patients, their families, and with other members of the interdisciplinary team. Throughout my career I have maintained a stellar performance record and gained a comprehensive knowledge of direct patient care, nursing procedures, and healthcare administration policies. I pride myself in time managment, prioritization, and implementation of evidence-based nursing care. Recently I made the decision to complete my bachelor's degree through the University of Phoenix. Following completion of this program I was accepted to the Family Nurse Practitioner Program that I will begin in May of 2021.
