Manages and controls BDE digital networks. Manages and provides training and supervision of up to 10 personnel that support BDE C4 operations.
Company Commander of 80+ person Area Signal Company in the 36th Sustainment Brigade Special Troops Battalion. Responsible for equipment in excess of $30 million. Responsible for training, logistics, personnel administration, equipment maintenance and strength management for the company. Also responsible for Soldier readiness, professional development of subordinate leaders and the conduct and discipline of the soldiers in the unit. Responsible for the preparation and execution of the unit transformation and for the morale and welfare of the company.
Trained for 6 months in preparation of deployment to Iraq ( May-Jun '04). Deployed to Iraq for 12 months as a Morale, Welfare and Recreation Officer In Charge. Provided phone service and computers and internet service to soldiers on the base camp. Also counseled soldiers on education, help soldiers enroll in online college courses, taught my staff how to fix, update and network computers. Also organized events for the soldiers on holidays and when celebrities came to do a show for them.
Worked in a physical medicine and rehabilitation clinic as a PT Tech, along side a physical therapist, a kinesiologist, massage therapists and a D.O. Assisted the D.O. as a pt tech/medical assistant by taking patient information, assisted with manipulations and injections. Worked with patients on strength training and theraputic exercises, modialities (ultrasound, muscle stim, whirlpool, etc..) as well as cleaning the equipment/tables, checking in patients, kept an orgainized flow of the therapy area.
