With church, I have had the privilege to work with the youth on Wednesday nights through our outreach program, I have ran the coffee area on Sunday mornings for several years, I have also organized and served under several committees and positions to serve our church and community.
Through PTSA I have been a secretary and participated in several community projects from Teacher/Staff appreciation, Fundraisers, School events, Special evenings for kids entertainment, and several other service projects over the years.
I have had almost 8 years working in the healthcare field. I have extensive experience in the billing department working with smaller county hospitals up to large regional medical facilities in the United States. I have dealt with VA facilities, IHS facilities, Medicare and the Medicaid healthcare systems in several states. Along with facilities, I have worked with numerous healthcare insurance companies. Including but not limited to Aetna, Humana, UHC, and several others. I have also had the privilege to work with many patients who have to deal with going through difficult health trials, insurance issues, and stressors that they can not always control. listening to them and being an advocate for them many times is what they need for a positive outcome.
This work environment is fast paced, requiting attention to detail and organization on a daily basis. I work well with leadership and other co-workers, I am reliable and am very willing to take on new rolls and new areas to learn where is needed.

I was an electronic customer service representative and also a Customer Service Manager for Walmart. I dealt with several customer questions, requests and disputes.
I assisted in several classrooms and several teachers in an elementary school setting to help students with special needs get the personalized education, behavioral, and emotional support that the individual students needed to enable positive learning environments and outcomes.
I was approached by a family to start a daycare for their one daughter, which then landed into a 11 year business for me and my family.
With this job were many challenges as well as rewards.
Teaching the children to play well, take care of one another, be kind and basic life skills was a joy so many days. There were also days of tantrums, fights, no naps, behavioral issues. But being able to offer care to so many children and families over the years was such a blessing.
